BORED~~
Thursday, July 31, 2008 @ 8:01 AM.
This week was awfully boring. There's no work to start off with yet - yeah, we're lacking text books and lecture notes.
Ok, so maybe there isn't any motivation to study. I'm still more or less enjoying myself. It's kind of hard to actually sit myself down with a BIG book.
I'm continuously looking for more excuses to do more nonsense.
1. Blogging about how bored I am
2. Eat
3. Sleep
4. Read manga
5. Eat
6. Sleep
7. Talk
8. Sleep
9. Talk
10.Talk
I'm itching to play badminton. But I can't play here this week!!!! Now I'm missing Ken, Kathir and the rest - they were good sport. *wistful*
Went singing karaoke for the first time yesterday at Neway, Times Square, KL, Malaysia.
I surprised myself - I was BORED. Very sorry my best buddies...Probably I expected too much.
HAHA. Xin Tang got me too worked up...
The ride back to campus was "refreshing". I was squished flat onto the monorail sliding door like an insignificant bug. I was pressed and shoved on all sides and I had to stand on my toes. Yes, there isn't even enough space for me to plant both my feet on the floor to stand!
The funniest part was when I received a panic call from Xin Tang, asking where was I. The rest of them couldn't squeezed into the train. And I thought, no wonder I can't see Jwu Shyan's (he's super tall) head anywhere. Then I just HAD to chuckle all the way to sentral...I felt like I was treated like a helpless lost child. LOL.
The KTM ride back was even better. We hit rush hour. KTM became like a moving tin of human bodies.
The disadvantages of riding commuters at rush hour:
1. Feeling someone else's butt on yours
2. Sweltering in heat (it's amazing how a few dozens humans in a small commuter car can make such good space heaters, puts generators to shame)
3. Hair that smell to the high heavens
4. Bad breaths
5. Everyone standing are dangerous ten-pins (Once one falls, everyone falls - Newton's third law)
6. Amazingly insensitive irksome pests.
The moral of the story: Never travel at rush hour with pests.
