meaning of flowers

I know my posts are lacking of pictures...
So, I'll make up to that with these:
Each flower and colour have their very own traditional meanings. (Be careful when you send flowers to someone! You might get a cold shoulder if you send the wrong flowers with you no wiser)
So, I thought I might help some of you with these tips. The flowers I picked out are the flowers that I know what their meanings are. The meaning I give may not be the only meaning or the exact meaning. Flowers can have multiple meanings. Normally, florists will know.
Well, the usuals are

The pink rose: Love, Happiness

The red-yellow rose: Congratulations
Or if there was someone that pissed you off recently, you can send him/her this:

The orange lily: Hate and Despise
Even if you did send the wrong flower, there's always this life-saver:

Purple hyacinth: I'm sorry
For farewells,

Cyclamen: Regret and Goodbye
Guys, send this to the girl that you're wooing:

Pure white camellia: You're adorable
I think everyone knows this but I'll put it here anyway because it's one of my favourites. =)

The pink carnation: The emblem of Mother's Day
