What I have been doing the past week.

I'm tired. SO, today is a point-form special.
1. Been to orientation at uni. Informative but they really sap all the happy ions inside me. It's very taxing to replenish them every night when I can't sleep. (How much can you recharge from 5am to 8am?)
2. Joined some social gatherings for international students...
This is what central market at Chinatown looks like. A cleaner and bigger version of Malaysian mini market.
I had 'shared' dinner with other international students after the central market trip.
(from left clockwise) Shavin (Sri Lankan) - Commerce, Dou (Japanese-Chinese), Tou (Vietnamese)-politics I think, Christopher (Malaysian)-arts and education, Toru (Japanese) study abroad programme, Johnson (Malaysian) - mechanical engineering.
Went to Glenelg beach. I took only sceneries and forgotten to take one of myself. Anyway u can see the photos tagged on fb.
Joined the Aussie Trivia and Pizza Night this evening. Forgot to take photos yet again. but I have photos of the prizes we won for the GK quiz! (Basically, Manu answered most of them)
3. Made new frens. Lots, I think. Will update u guys as we go along and depending how often i update.
I know, my blog is boring...but this IS the fastest way to tell EVERYBODY what I'm up to here rather than repeating myself to every Tom, Dick and Harry that asks, "What have you been doing this past week?"
New Place, New People

Please forgive me for not updating for so long.
Firstly, I was too rushed before leaving for Adelaide. There's too many preparations to do! Actually, I was too busy making caricatures for my friends at the salon. God, I miss them. I miss styling hair. I miss my classmate and my teachers.
Second, it took me some time to get an internet connection. I have to settle so many things at once since touching down on kangaroo island. Though, I think I could have settled things a lot faster if I didn't followed Zhi Weng or Pei Lee in a group. I could have gotten them done sooner. But, I was afraid of being alone and getting lost.
I was lost in the city for about an hour before I could find the tram on my first day. And ended up walking a longer distance back to my place. All the while, I kept going, "Shit, Shit, Shit!" I panicked a bit back then. I walked on the same streets in both directions more than 10 times, I think. I'm serious.
Now I'm surprised how I can be lost. Now, I know my walking path like the back of my hand. Just not familiar with the center of the city just yet.
One thing about Adelaide, eating out is expensive. So, most students cook themselves. I, however, starve myself. Yes, I only take 1 meal a day. I have to say, I admire myself. It's not because I'm stingy or anything. It's just that my larder is still empty. It's like a barren land. Can't even make myself anything if I wanted to. Leached on Pei Lee for the first few days. (She has a cousin who bought practically almost everything, enough to feed a hippo) Since it's her things, I didn't think it would be nice to eat all three meals on her expense. So, I only ate one meal.
After that, I have food, but I lost appetite.
Anyway, my family must be curious what my room looks like.
Okay, I can barely hold up my head. I'm going to sleep.
